The Base Training Plan is for runners just getting back into the season after a period of time off or for athletes in a fitness maintenance phase. This program works to maintain or build your base fitness and strength with assorted easy runs, multi sport activities, body and core strength building routines, and the introduction of running drills.
These tools will lay the ground work for an injury-free season of running. The weekly routine will have a minimal impact to your daily routine, typically including 4-5 training seasons per week at a maximum of one hour each.
This is a personalized 8-week plan that includes one in-person coaching meeting (in Truckee / North Tahoe region) within that time, unlimited email contact (typically once or twice per week) and a discounted 90-day membership to Performance Training Center in Truckee, CA. Additional in-person training sessions available.
